2000 Hamel
CONTEXT
The 2000-1950 Hamel site was completely redeveloped. Changes were
made to zoning, with various lots being consolidated and in some cases
repurposed. In order to exploit the full potential of the property, the
project also required a major design component. Adjacent strips of land
and some entire lots needed to be acquired, so negotiations with
neighbors were key. After the existing structures were demolished, a
10,000 sq. ft. commercial building was built. A second one will be
completed by year is end.
