GREEN LIGHT FOR THE ÎLOT DORCHESTER PROJECT

Redevelopment of Îlot Dorchester is finally set to begin this summer, starting with a 17-storey building. The latest version of the project was approved by Mayor Marchand, who praised Trudel’s responsiveness to citizen input. William Trudel noted that the process pushed the company “to be better” and to align more closely with area expectations.

The site will include 400 housing units (including affordable and subsidized housing), approximately 150 hotel rooms, a small grocery store, green spaces, and a public square.

The final plan approved by the City is international calibre and will usher Saint-Roch into a new era of urban modernity.
