For the 4th consecutive year, William Trudel accepted the role of Light Bearer and Honorary President of Québec Ville en Rose. The mobilization of employees, as well as the generosity of business partners and Trudel, resulted in a $55,555 donation to the Breast Diseases Center (CMS) at CHU de Québec-Université Laval.

As the manager of the parking lot, Trudel has acquired this highly strategic site for the sum of $6 million. Currently, the purpose of this high-potential land remains to be determined. In-depth analyses will be conducted to determine the best possible use. Stay tuned.

Now that the financial setup is complete, the major Fleur de Lys project is ready to start and will transform the urban landscape of Quebec City. Starting in early 2023, excavation work will begin on part of the site. The first residential units, streets, and green spaces will emerge. The shopping mall will be enhanced. By 2025, Fleur de Lys will be the new hub of attraction for everyone.

Trudel announces the arrival of the largest DÉLIRE indoor bouldering climbing gym at Les Promenades de Lévis. Construction work for this 5th location, covering 15,000 square feet, is progressing smoothly. It will undoubtedly become a must-visit spot for climbers in the region.

Trudel is currently working on the transformation of its vast urban properties into new living environments with numerous green spaces.

The Quebec government has announced a financial contribution of $43 million to Trudel’s major Fleur de Lys project. This investment is made through a preferred equity stake, which will ultimately be repurchased by Trudel.

Trudel is proud that the government has recognized the innovative and structural nature of the project. This investment will provide the necessary means to accelerate the project’s realization and create a high-quality living environment that will redefine urban development standards.

Trudel has unveiled a highly honorable initiative by designating exclusive parking spaces for veterans.

A total of 60 parking spots have been reserved for veterans across several Trudel sites: Fleur de Lys, Place des Quatre-Bourgeois, Galeries Charlesbourg, Promenades de Lévis, Carrefour Saint-David, and Place Centre-Ville in Saint-Georges. Trudel counts several veterans among its staff, and many of these spaces were created by them.

With this gesture, Trudel becomes the first private company in the Capitale-Nationale region to implement such a project on large-scale properties.

From June 9 to 12, things were swinging at the Fleur de Lys park! The 2022 season officially kicked off with a flurry of exciting activities sure to energize the neighborhood: “Les Crinqués” car show, live music, dancing, skill games, entertainment, ice cream bar… and so much more!

Social engagement is part of Trudel’s DNA. That’s why its president and founder, William Trudel, gladly accepted the honorary co-chair position for the Les Homardises evening in support of the Cité Joie Foundation. This role was carried out jointly with Claude Savard, Vice-President, Commercial Financial Services at RBC Royal Bank.

More than 400 people came together to celebrate the work of this organization, which supports hundreds of beneficiaries and their families. A total of $185,000 was raised this year.

3, 2, 1… We’re off! Work has begun on deconstructing a section of the Fleur de Lys shopping mall to bring the Trudel multi-use project to fruition and build a true living environment. In addition to the UQTR campus already located on the site, the project includes thousands of housing units for all budgets, a seniors’ residence, a huge park, numerous green spaces and shops.

Site operations are carried out in line with Trudel’s philosophy of sustainable development. In fact, all raw materials that can be reused (steel, iron, copper and aluminum) are recovered.

A project of this scale requires work to be carried out over several months. The mall will remain open throughout, and parking will be available around the mall, except in the work zone.

The Trudel project at Fleur de Lys will be publicly unveiled in the coming months.

The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) Québec City campus announces the launch of a University of the Third Age at Fleur de Lys starting this fall.
