On March 25, the Réseau de transport de la Capitale announced an enhancement to its electric bike-sharing service, aVélo. The network will now include a total of 115 stations and 1,300 bikes for the 2024 season.
To better serve the Vanier area, Trudel will host one of these stations on the grounds of Fleur de Lys. It will be installed next to the temporary park (door 2), facing Soumande Street.

On March 21, the residential leasing team invited the first 100 tenants of the very first residential building at Fleur de Lys to an exclusive event. With immense pride, the team revealed the name of the building, Le 21 mars, a historical reference to the opening date of the shopping center in 1963. It was also an opportunity to present some previews to the future tenants present.
A highly successful event that allowed the entire Trudel team to connect with those who have chosen to make Fleur de Lys their home!

On March 14, the City held its very first public consultation for the redevelopment of Place des Quatre-Bourgeois. This was a significant moment for Trudel, as we finally unveiled this project to the public, which we have been working on relentlessly for the past 5 years, in collaboration with Groupe A / Annexe U.
A project of such magnitude cannot be realized without the invaluable collaboration of the public. In fact, more than 3,000 people and 65 partners were consulted in 2021 to gather the best ideas before even making the first pencil stroke on the plans.
Since mid-February, we have met with our neighbors, merchants, and community partners to present the project, listen to their feedback, and make the necessary adjustments.
At Trudel, we create human-scale projects that address the real needs of people, with respect for the surrounding community.

Construction is progressing rapidly at Fleur de Lys. Despite this momentum, Trudel is calling for a relief of regulations related to housing construction, which are considered far too burdensome, especially when a zoning change is required. William Trudel urges for faster decision-making and a reduction in administrative delays to support a more efficient development model in the Quebec City area.

For the 5^th consecutive year, William Trudel agreed to be the Lightbearer and honorary president of the philanthropic movement Québec Ville en Rose, organized by the CHU de Québec Foundation. For this edition, Trudel went all out: interactive auction, organization of the FDL in Pink event, and a cocktail contest with P-A Méthot during the fundraising evening at Madame Chose. The efforts of Trudel and the entire team, along with the generosity of the public and business partners, contributed to raising $44,350 for the Breast Disease Center (CMS) at CHU de Québec-Université Laval.

The 13^th edition of the movement raised a total of $226,000.

Trudel Construction acted as the general contractor for the greening project at the Signes d’Espoir Center. Our team is proud to be involved in this community and firmly believes that greening is an essential element for the quality of life of everyone.

Starting on June 22, Préski, the first indoor sliding center in Quebec, will offer skiers of all levels new facilities that will allow them to extend their ski season year-round. As part of the Fleur de Lys redevelopment project, Préski marks Trudel’s first opening of a unique and accessible entertainment facility for everyone.

On June 14, Trudel revealed to the public its significant redevelopment project for Fleur de Lys. This human-scale project will transform the urban landscape of the Capitale-Nationale. During this event, the audience was thrilled by the arrival of this new living environment focused on innovation, sustainable development, and green spaces.

A captivating 3D visual presentation, a carefully crafted model, and an extraordinary evening captivated the entire audience.

Trudel is honored to have provided support for this touching project by École Notre-Dame du Canada. An outdoor classroom was created in memory of Ms. Catherine Bilodeau, a dedicated teacher from the Vanier area who tragically passed away in May 2022.

The entire Trudel team was particularly moved by this sad event, which deeply affected the neighborhood where our roots are growing stronger every day. Community involvement is at the heart of our values, and it felt entirely natural for us to lend a hand to École Notre-Dame du Canada.

The construction site for the major redevelopment of Fleur de Lys, one of the largest construction projects in the City of Quebec, is in full swing. Already, the ground floor of the first building, spanning over 110,000 ^{square feet} for commercial use, has been completed. Leasing for the first residential phase, which includes nearly 500 units, will begin in September 2023, and the first residents will move in at the beginning of 2025.
